A fifty-five kilometer trail that stretches from Victoria to Sooke.
The Galloping Goose Regional trail, also known as 'The Goose' is a 55km trail that reaches from Victoria to Sooke. The trail runs through Metchosin, Langford, View Royal and Saanich. It was built on top of a defunct rail line and connects with the Lochside Regional Trail to Sydney and is part of the Trans Canada Trail.
This trail is rated easy, with the paved parts being accessible. The Galloping Goose is popular with cyclists, pedestrians, runners, commuters and in the rural sections you can ride a horse.
